Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products. Develop and execute software test plans. Analyze and write test standards and procedures. Debug software products through use of tests. Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyze test results to ensure functionality and recommend corrective action. Participate and provide valuable feedback in product design discussions. Perform functional and regression testing and setup continuous integration test environments, deploy builds, and run integration tests. Design, develop, maintain automation frameworks for GUI applications, and APIs. Work with development, support, and product management to resolve customer issues. May own and lead small projects with other team members. Utilize graduate-level research and analysis skills. Employer will accept Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field and 2 years of work experience in job offered or 2 years of work experience in a computer-related occupation. Position requires 2 years experience in the following: 1. Java 2. Object oriented design and programming concepts 3. scripting languages like Python, Perl, unix shell scripting 4. RDBMS:MySQL, Maria DB 5. Developing automation tests for GUI applications using open source frameworks like Selenium 6. network authentication protocols: SAML, Radius, and Public Key Cryptography 7. Performing load, performance and reliability testing to collect performance and scalability metrics 8. Active directory, and LDAP protocols 9. Windows, OS X, Linux, platforms 10. Network and information security - OWASP security standards, threat modeling, and perform Security testing to catch vulnerabilities 11. Agile development process, test driven software development, 12. QA processes in SDLC 13. development and testing of SOAP and REST API 14. build management, setting up continuous integration test environments, and deploying builds. Working with customer support in resolving customer escalations
