Responsible for analyzing, designing, debugging and/or modifying software; or evaluating, developing, modifying and coding software programs to support programming needs. Maintain and enhance existing code with focus on implementation. Collaborate with and assist team of engineers in writing functional, design and user interface specifications. Follow software lifecycle process when developing software. Help identify solutions to problems encountered in software cycle. Manage and govern service portfolio management process. Manage the IT Service Enablement Service and responsible for associated communications, plans, timelines, roadmap, service review deliverables and service level metrics for all IT services at Symantec. Manages the service portfolio Ramp Up activities in Service Exchange. Report on the program status regularly to the IT Service Enablement Service Owner and leadership team. Manages various CTB activities aligned to major program initiatives for Symantec IT. Participate in corporate strategic planning activities Manage projects from planning and development to successful completion while Using a process-based approach to achieve organizational goals. Direct and evaluate project vision and strategy. Perform project completion and team management, defining and driving project deliverables and facilitating project team meetings. Manage all phases of the software development lifecycle. Created communications, Service stakeholder management strategy. Utilizes graduate-level research and analysis skills. Employer will accept Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field and 2 years of work experience in job offered or 2 years of work experience in a computer-related occupation. Alternatively, Employer will accept Bachelor’s’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field and 5 years of work experience in job offered or 5 years of work experience in a computer-related occupation. Position requires 2 years experience in the following: 1. ServiceNow platform reporting 2. Service Management Operations (including Incident, Change, Problem) 3. Oracle 11i, SQL Server 4. Business Intelligence - Business Objects , Tableau, QlikView, Crystal Reports 5. Project and Program management 6. BMC Remedy 7. SQL, PL/SQL 8. HTML, CSS, JavaScript 9. Agile Software Development Methodology, JIRA 10. Sharepoint and Web Design
