May collect and process economic, financial and statistical data using sampling techniques and econometric methods. Assist in formulating and driving pricing strategy and vision for Consumer Business Unit. Work with cross-functional teams to understand market dynamics and business performance. Help identify market opportunities, and develop pricing strategies to pursue them. Develop and leverage best in class analytics to set pricing strategy. Develop and design new monetization models. Price new products globally. Develop best in class pricing processes and governance. Work with pricing thought leaders for Symantec. Work on pricing strategies, build out new methodologies, and drive them globally. Focus on Digital Safety Plans currently. Specific projects may change given the business direction and priorities. Utilize graduate-level research and analysis skills. Employer will accept Master?s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field and 1 years experience in job offered or analysis or finance-related occupation. Position requires 1 years experience in the following: 1. Formulating and driving pricing strategy and vision ; 2. Developing and leveraging best in class analytics to set strategy and make pricing decisions to shape monetization strategies; 3. Developing and enforcing best in class pricing processes and governance to formulate pricing tests and analyzing results to improve the business; 4. Working with cross-functional teams of regional sales, finance, marketing, and product managers to understand market dynamics, business performance, and devising effective pricing strategies and tactics; 5. Identifying market opportunities, performing business and competitive analyses, and developing pricing strategies and tactics to serve as a strategic thought leader; 6. Collaborating and working across all of the functions in the company and serve as a Consultant to help drive growth for the business; 7. Using analytical skills to provide data driven recommendations that help the business grow revenue and market share; 8. Using communication skills to present recommendations to senior leaders in the company; 9. Using statistical methodology to understand customer segmentation and price sensitivities and conduct market research (e.g. conjoint analysis); and 10. Transforming large data into actionable strategic decisions for the company.
