Analyze engineering, business and/or other business intelligence issues for application to Symantec solutions; and/or provide operational support in the development and implementation process of computer software applications, systems or services. Identify data quality issues and their root causes. Propose fixes and design data audits to ensure against problem recurrence. Analyze data contained in the corporate databases and systems, to identify data integrity issues with existing and proposed systems and implement solutions. Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements. Provide assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of applications and information technology. Provide Quality Assurance on data migration for multiple systems. Make recommendations on data quality measurements, gaps and health issues Provide minor programming for some in-house Data Services projects. Partner with application and data warehouse development teams and coordinate multiple projects. Provide expert advice in the usage and interpretation of data for the assigned business area. Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Business, or related field and five years of work experience in job offered or in a computer-related or business systems-related occupation. Position requires: 1. Data integration between various systems such as Salesforce, Oracle Suite, Business Objects, Informatica, Eloqua, Marketo, Responsys, Omniture and others. 2.
