Analyze engineering, business and/or other business intelligence issues for application to Symantec solutions; and/or provide operational support in the development and implementation process of computer software applications, systems or services. Define selection criteria for identifying data that meets Symantec specific business requirements with respect to data quality analysis and data conversions. Pull data that meets selection criteria from a variety of Symantec business systems (e.g. Symantec Oracle EBS, Symantec custom applications residing in Operational Data Store, etc.) Analyze data in preparation for migrations relating to M&A integrations. Assess data quality based on Symantec business requirements. Perform data extraction for manual cleansing either offline or in Symantec systems and data extraction to enable reconciliation between source and target systems during data conversion process. Utilize thorough understanding of end-to-end data flow and processes between Oracle ERP, SFDC, Customer Registry and other downstream systems for customers, contacts, product, pricing and entitlements data. Employer will accept Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Business, or related field, and 2 years of work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Alternatively, Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Business, or related field, and five years of work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Any suitable combination of education, experience or training is acceptable. Position requires: 1. SQL; 2. Business Objects Reporting; 3. Master Data Management across Oracle ERP, SFDC and Informatica Systems; 4. Customer, contact, product, pricing and entitlement data structures; 5. Microsoft Excel; and 6. Build relationships across stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, Support and Finance functions.
