Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products. Develop and execute software test plans. Analyze and write test standards and procedures. Debug software products through use of tests. Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyze test results to ensure functionality and recommend corrective action. Provide unified security telemetry data from the Data Center Security agent to the telemetry server. Set up Virtual test environment. Execute tests cases. File reproducible defects and verify fixes. Implement and debug test tools and automation. Lead the testing effort for a product component. Mentor junior team members on best practices. Work with developers to create the necessary hooks in the code to aid in creation of test automation. Plan and scope the test strategy for a product component. Utilizes graduate-level research and analysis skills.
Employer will accept Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field and 1 year of work experience in job offered or 1 year of work experience in a computer-related occupation.
Education or experience must include:
1. Windows and Linux Operating Systems
3. Networking concepts and protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, routes
4. Java or C/C++/C#
5. Quality Assurance Process
6. Authoring Test Cases
7. Authoring Test Automation including writing shell scripts, test scripts and functions from scratch
8. Automation framework experience
9. Practical experience working in Agile Scrum teams
